Urban CARVER

The Urban Carver is the Flex-E 1.5 of our latest range with a similar feel but the added benefits of the Urban setup. It utilises the same components from the Urban range and at 91cm long.
The perfect carver is back.

STORY

The Kick and 80 are perfect for Urban riding but we wanted to throw a longboard deck into the mix. Plus the deck is available separately for anyone who wants to swap.

DESIGNED FOR URBAN RIDING

With a traditional longboard length and perfect foot positioning the Urban Carver is a throwback to our super popular Flex-E Carbon but now available in Maple. Perfect for city carving with comfortable foot placement. Carve with perfect comfort and control.

Deck Choice

The carver is the third deck in the Urban range and is based on the popular shape of the Flex-E 1.0 Carbon but of course, joins the range with a more flexible 7 ply maple construction.

The below results are an average from 3 runs, using full brakes at 15mph.

Smaller wheels have a shorter braking distance, larger wheels have a higher top speed.

Sound testing

As electric motors become more powerful and battery voltages increase, electric motors generally get louder. Our enclosed motors have been tested to an extreme degree of accuracy in an anechoic chamber at Southampton University.

 We wanted reliable data, with the motors running under load at different speeds. Measurements were taken from a riders perspective with the microphone positioned 1.5m above the board with a rider in place. A second measurement was taken at 1.5m (ear height) and 1.5m to the side to get a pedestrians sound level.

Wheel Options

Currently Slick Revolution offer 3 types of electric skateboard wheels. Both have their own unique attributes, it all depends on where you want to ride.

83mm Slicks

Ideally suited to smoother tarmac and hard ground. Their smaller size gives greater acceleration and torque but a slightly slower top speed.

110mm Rough Stuff

Roll smoothly over previously bumpy terrain. The 110mm diameter allows you to roll up drop-curbs and forget about small pebbles.

120mm FOAMIES

Our newest addition to the line up takes comfort to a whole new level. With a patented foam core these 120mm monsters eat up bumps and vibrations for breakfast.

FAQ

Who is the Urban Carver best suited to?

The Urban Carver is perfect for newbies looking for flowy, fast carving with a wide stance and comfortable foot positioning. A throwback to what longboarding is all about, but with power under your feet!

Can I swap my deck to the Urban 80 or Kick?

Absolutely. All of the components bolt on to the deck so in the future you can purchase any urban range deck and swap up your ride.

Can I use this eboard without power?

There’s a little resistance from the motors but if you run out of juice you can kick just like a regular longboard. In fact we encourage it when starting as you save juice and get your balance.

Can I swap between Slicks, Rough Stuff and Foamies?

Absolutely! All of our wheels will fit on any SR board. Each set will include belt covers to match your wheel choice.

Is this eboard waterproof?

No. Riding urethane on wet ground is extremely slippy, potentially dangerous and not something we advise on safety grounds. Our boards can be ridden on damp discoloured ground but if water or spray is splashing up on to the board it is too wet and should be avoided.
